About Call Me Ace
Call Me Ace is an independent hip hop artist, millennial professional and disruptor who challenges the status quo. In 2019, Call Me Ace released his debut album, Airplane Mode, which debuted #3 on the iTunes Top 40 US Hip-Hop Album Chart as well as #50 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Album Sales chart. In February 2020, Ace’s second EP, Working From Home, earned 1,000,000+ Spotify streams and media recognition from Earmilk.com, Medium.com, Chartmetric, ItsBizKit.com, Authority Magazine, NPR’s KALW Radio, ThriveGlobal.com & more. In June 2020, he released Working From Home: Extended and used proceeds from the pre-orders to donate $5,000+ to FaithInAction.org’s Live Free Campaign—which was donated by Google. Determined to use his music and professional knowledge as a gateway to connect with disenfranchised communities, Call Me Ace encourages his supporters to live a rich life, not just a life full of riches.

About Lachers Reese
Lachers Reese is a well-established hairstylist that thrives off of rejuvenating the morale of her clients through beauty consultations and confident-boosting hairstyles. Influenced by her attraction to fashion and hair design, Reese started her career at Brio Hair Academy and became a licensed cosmetologist. Shortly after, Reese began her freelance career where she was granted opportunities to do hair for some of the most well known musicians and TV personalities of our time. Additionally, Reese has worked with QVC, Good Morning America; and assisted on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Her editorial clientele consists of Vogue, Quest, WAG, Jet, Social Life, and Greenwich Times. At AIL students are not grades, tuition or case numbers...they are people, they're OUR kids and they are OUR community. Each child is given individual attention, goals and a plan. About CT Office of The Arts
The Office of the Arts works to inspire a culture of creativity in Connecticut by supporting arts making and arts participation for all people. The Arts Workforce Initiative (AWI) is a paid apprenticeship program that gives Connecticut college students, emerging creatives and military veterans an opportunity to gain high-level professional work experience with not-for-profit arts and cultural organizations throughout the state. This program is specifically designed for applicants from diverse and traditionally underrepresented backgrounds. A host organization must provide a hands-on and engaging learning opportunity that allows an individual to gain relevant skills and work experience in the arts.
Selected host organizations will be granted $3,750 per apprentice to be used to pay an hourly rate of $15. Selected participants work 25 hours a week for 10 weeks for the selected host organization. Participants receive payment from the host organization where their apprenticeship will take place.
